The Chapter's Transition to the Alliance
The WDCB began holding a Technical Communication Competition in 1962 and continued to sponsor one through 2018. Beginning in 2019, the WDCB joined forces with the STC Alliance Competition. This endeavor entailed a collaboration with the STC chapters in Atlanta, New England, New York, Philadelphia, Rochester, South-Central Texas, and Washington, DC-Baltimore.

Volunteer Judges Help Make the Competition Possible
Serving as a judge is a wonderful way to gain professional insight. You will get a close look at your peers' best work in the field of technical communication. Please consider serving in this way, for your own benefit! See the Call for Judges for more details. To volunteer, submit the Judge Information form. (Please note that you must use the Google Chrome browser to complete and submit the judging form.)
The STC Alliance Competition Committee is grateful for the expertise and time the volunteer judges provide to make the competition a success.
